Sometimes I get reminded of lessons that I should have already learned, because I make similar mistakes repeatedly if I don't use my brain.
Mum had appointment for a checkup someplace, and I had to accompany her. Managed to get there early, but had to wait as no one was around. Waited and waited, until the time booked but still nobody. So then I thought to check the letter sent with the appointment details, and found out that we had been waiting in the wrong area. Was a little late, not a major disaster.
It wasn't exactly another case of "the man not asking for directions", because I had assumed that mum knew where to go as it was her appointment. It was a case of not double checking the details, reading the print (though it was not fine or small in this case), and making sure to know what to do or where to go.
Have to remember that the next time.
